This is a fairy tale with educational purposes, as it shows the trees as sentient beings (as in fact they are) telling about their supposed inner life, their dreams, their fears and their mystical and sublime affairs. Also, it tells the place and the real function of the human being in that context. The subliminal message, or not so much, is the troubles we are causing to ourselves by the deforestation of the Earth, not to speak of the cruelty related. In this tale the tree "spirits" have name and personalities, but have no agon, and the humans end up finding who were these spirits and why they aren't seem anymore (they were much time ago). It's our fault, of course, and the potential consequences are overwhelming. Have fun but take in consideration.
